Why should candidates return missed calls?
Career development associate Simon Ingari advised job seekers to return missed calls as soon as possible, noting that many candidates miss out on possibilities due to their unreachability.
“Return missed calls promptly; many candidates lose opportunities because they are unreachable,” he told TUKO.co.ke.
He also recommended turning on email notification alerts and tracking applications.
“Turn on email notifications for job portals. Check spam or junk folders frequently. Maintain a simple spreadsheet or notebook listing where and when you applied, deadlines, and follow-up dates. This prevents missed interviews or expired application links,” he added.
Ingari can be reached at @cv@oyk.co.ke.
