She has released some songs that are yet to pick up as much as her comedic skits had. Her fans blamed their new in-law for Cartoon’s change.

They noted that her new partner had changed the comedian. The two welcomed a child in late 2025.
After being blamed for Cartoon’s drastic changes in her career, Rotimi has spoken up, giving an insight into what happened.
Rotimi noted that he had seen several remarks suggesting that the comedian should leave him and focus on his career.
“Over the past few months, I have come across numerous sassy remarks suggesting that my wife should leave me and focus solely on her career. I simply smile,” he said.
He added that career advancement did not necessarily mean true life advancement. Rotimi hinted that his partner struggled with burnout while making the world happy with her skits.
“Too often, people forget that career progression does not always equate to true life advancement. A comedian may make the world laugh while privately carrying exhaustion, burnout, and unhealed struggles.”
Cartoon’s partner added that happiness and fulfillment were not defined by professional milestones alone.
Rotimi assured his wife’s fans that she would be back to creating
“Many dedicate themselves to uplifting their communities, yet forget a fundamental truth: happiness must also be chosen for oneself. Fulfilment is not defined by public applause or professional milestones alone, but by inner peace, purpose, and the courage to live intentionally regardless of circumstance. Regardless of what it looks like, humans choose peace, but she will be back. Happily creative and loving,” he shared.
When asked what his post meant, he noted that he was trying to paint a picture of what influencers go through, reminding Kenyans that they are also human.
“It means even celebrities or influencers are human; they take time to heal and they go through life like everyone else. You can interpret it as you like, but this is life, and people also experience ups and downs like you. You get it now?”
Did Cartoon and her partner welcome a child?
In other news, the comedian and her partner welcomed a child in late 2025.
She has since shared several photos holding her child, and her partner also shared a photo of his family donning Christmas outfits.
