Edday Nderitu’s Friend Surprises Her Ahead of Valentine’s Day: “Her Husband is in Kenya”

Edday Nderitu is celebrating Valentine’s alone while in the US with her kids.

The mother of three relocated to the US in 2023, but many did not know that she would never come back to Kenya.

At the time, she and her husband, Samidoh Muchoki, were dominating headlines for all the wrong reasons.

The musician at the time was involved with nominated senator Karen Nyamu.

Nyamu was Samidoh’s mistress, and each time the two would be spotted together, Edday would comment about it on social media.

She would call out her husband for disrespecting her with an older woman. A section of her fans advised her to walk away from the marriage.

When she moved to the US, she and Samidoh worked things out, and he and the senator parted ways in a surprising twist.

How did Edday celebrate Valentine’s Day?

Nyamu claimed she dumped Samidoh, and his viral song Toxic Love was dedicated to her.

Fast forward to 2026 Valentine’s Day, Edday is celebrating it alone, but one of her friends remembered her.

The woman noted that she was celebrating Edday for always taking her kids to school in the wee hours.

She got her friend, Edday, a rose, some pancakes, and green grapes.

“I’m trying to surprise my friend Edday because she always picks my kids from school every morning and she doesn’t have a Valentine’s because her husband is in Kenya. So let’s see how she reacts. A Kenyan pancake, alittle bit of fruit and a rose flower let’s see,” she said.

When she got to the car, Edday was behind the wheel, excited about the surprise.

“Hey, Edday, happy Valentine’s Day,” she told her.

The musician’s wife thanked her while smelling the rose. Under the lady’s comment section, Edday appreciated her friend for being intentional.

“My intentional friend ❤️, then there’s me here; I don’t even know how to react. Thank you so much, hun; you made my day special, also the pancakes were 👌🏽.”
