Karangu Muaraya’s estranged first wife, Triza Njeri, has irked netizens after referring to herself as the queen of single mothers.

Triza’s marriage woes started in February 2025 on Valentine’s Day after her husband publicly celebrated her and her co-wife, Carol Kim.
Triza went live on TikTok, exposing the father of her children for marrying another wife without informing her. The mother of three burst into tears narrating how Karangu left her with their children in the village and moved in with another woman.
During the TikTok lives, she repeatedly announced that she was no longer married to Karangu. The two are living separately but haven’t divorced legally.
Is Karangu Muraya a deadbeat dad?
Recently, after Karangu shared photos spending quality time with his children, Triza came out to accuse him of neglecting their children. She alleged that he took them away without her knowledge.
She advised Karangu to have children with his second wife and stay away from her children.
Karangu dismissed claims of neglect, stating that he is a present dad and even gave Triza a mansion he was building to sell to live in with their children.
“In that house, I pay all the bills, from water to electricity. I also bring shopping, but the last time I did that, I was insulted in front of my kids. I will continue taking care of my kids to the best of my ability, but I beg you, even if you have no respect for me, do not do the same to my kids,” he shared.
Fast forward to February 13, Triza shared a video on her Facebook account and captioned it:
“Queen of single mothers.”
Her post didn’t go well with her fans, with many telling her to stop referring to herself as the queen of single mothers, yet her estranged husband takes care of all her bills.
“😂😂😂😂 One year can’t make you a queen of single mothers…..it’s a healing break…ukifikisha 8 yrs the crown will be yours….msinikujie sina kazi,” a fan commented.
An angry Triza responded to the fan, and she said:
“Ni njaa ama nini? Hapa hatukuangi serious…peleka advice za takataka huko (Are you hungry? Here we don’t take things serious. Take your stupid advice elsewhere.”
Another fan told off Triza for using the tag queen of single mothers.
“Tusidanganyane, a woman who’s living in her husband’s house and the husband paying school fees and taking care of the kids, is not single, that’s just a misunderstanding between them,” the fan said.
In her response, Triza said:
“Madam paragraph kwani unaishi kwangu juu unajua kila kitu…cenene.”
Another fan commented:
“Lipia watoi fee,ujilipie rent na uwapee chakula ndio ujue meaning ya single mother.”
An upset Triza responded, asking her if she was the one paying her children’s fees.
“Kwani niwewe unawalipia ama ni bwanako (Is you you or your husband that is paying for them)?” she asked.
