Rhoda Njagi began preparations early as she wanted to treat her family to a lovely and unforgettable surprise on Saturday, February 14.
The young woman treated her sister and mother to their first-ever flight as they headed to Diani to mark Valentine’s Day in style.
Njagi, a student at Thika Technical Training Institute, was over the moon at the opportunity as she shared the process through viral videos on her TikTok account.
“The world has made me board a flight with my whole family. Always appreciate what you have, no matter how small it is,” Njagi shared.

She captured her preparation journey, from visiting a tour and travel agent to make bookings to going to the salon for a hair trim.
The accounting student also shared a clip of herself packing clothes for both herself and her sister ahead of their getaway to Kwale county.
Every step was filled with joy until they got to the airport, where they could not hold back their excitement as they looked forward to boarding their flight.
Before entering the plane, they took a group photo, posing with smiles as they prepared to board the aircraft and fly away.
