A content creator, Choice Kinoti, was among the women who were filmed by a Russian man, Vladislav Liukov, aka Yaytseslav Truhov.

The Caucasian man approached women in public spaces like malls and supermarkets.
Yaytseslav used smart glasses as he recorded initial interactions and subsequent intimate encounters in rented apartments without the women’s consent.
The Russian man shared short clips on platforms like TikTok and YouTube for free, while monetising more private and full-length videos on a private Telegram channel through a monthly subscription.

Choice was among the women filmed by Yaytseslav, and a video of her asking him to take her to Russia attracted mixed reactions.

What is Choice Kinoti’s status?
With the Russian man’s promiscuity in several African countries, a question about his HIV status arose.
Choice was forced to take an HIV test on camera and later shared the results during a recent interview.
The lady previously revealed that she and the man had practiced safe sex and she was not afraid to take a HIV test.
During a recorded livestream with Muhia Wa Mwangi, Choice admitted that she started doubting herself after reading comments from Kenyans claiming she was infected with the virus.
“Guys, I feel so bad. You are making me doubt myself. You are making me even think that I have it, yet I know myself, but since I dated this Russian man. I have been with him on vacation, I am doubting myself, but I know God will be with me, and I believe I am okay guys. But I do not know, I am really tense because everyone online is saying that I have HIV,” she said.

At first, she was tense, saying that she could not do the test on air. She advised those planning to take such tests not to be fearful.

“I was involved with someone who has it, and I feel bad and nervous. I know I took care of myself, but people can talk until you feel like you are doubting yourself. Then you are like, ‘oh my God, what if they are right?’ It’s been a while since I tested myself because I always practice safe sex. I fear this I cannot do this on air.”
She noted that she was doing the test for her family, friends, and prospects.
“I am doing this for my own sake, for my friends, family, and future prospects. I am very nervous. If it comes out positive, please do not judge me,” she said.
Choice paraded her test on the camera, showing that she was HIV negative.
“These are my results. Don’t use your eyes to judge. I am now confident. Don’t judge people by how they look,” she added.
