The musical couple have three children together, and the eldest, Tumiso, turned 19 years old in 2025.

In 2025, she had a candid conversation with her mother about the role of women in society.
The two delved into issues surrounding dating and financial equality, where Tumiso opened up with her honest take.
Wahu asked her daughter what her take was on whether men should always pay for their dates.
Tumiso challenged the idea, saying that it had become a norm for women to abscond from financial obligations, noting that the whole idea of men paying for everything should be diminished
She added that women should not be financially dependent on men since they all received equal education and urged ladies to work towards paying for their own things.
One can see that Wahu and her husband have raised their daughter to be a strong-minded and independent thinker.
She leaked chats with her daughter showing how her daughter was trying to sweet-talk her into letting her go out.
Tumi sent a sticker to her mother and wrote:
“I can’t lie, queen, please let me go,” she said.
Wahu, in her response, hilariously referenced the fact that her daughter had called her queen. She said:
