The country is still mourning the tragic deaths of six people, including the Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament, Johana Ng’eno, who died in a helicopter crash in Mosop constituency, Nandi county.

Ng’eno, his personal photographer, and four others perished in the deadly crash, which occurred at around 4:45 pm on February 28.

Many Kenyans, led by President William Ruto, mourned the 54-year-old lawmaker and comforted his family and constituents following the immense loss.

Attention has been drawn to the young family he has left behind, including his beloved wife, Nayianoi Ntutu, and their two young daughters.

Did Johana Ng’eno’s mother visit his Karen home?

As many continued to comfort her and send condolence messages, an image of the late MP’s mother breaking down at his Karen home surfaced online.

The photos captured the elderly woman dressed in a white and blue dress, a warm black-and-white sweater, and a red bonnet on her head.

Overcome with grief, she sat beside her daughter-in-law, Nayianoi, who held her arm and hugged her warmly.

Nayianoi consoled the grieving woman, seemingly assuring her that they would weather the storm together.

Ng’eno’s mother mourned her son and could be seen wiping away her tears, as her daughter-in-law remained steadfastly by her side.

The image moved many, who sent condolences and words of encouragement to the two grieving women.

Visibly heartbroken by the loss of their loved one, one has lost her beloved son, while the other has lost her beloved husband and the father of her children.

Kenyans flooded social media with condolences, sharing personal grief and messages of encouragement for the bereaved family.
