For weeks, the singer had been trending on social media after a woman identified as Judith Makhokha claimed to be his biological mother despite Bahati previously announcing that his mother passed away when he was young.
Judith, who is of Kisii descent, alleged that she gave Bahati up for adoption when he was young and had recently decided to search for him so they could reconnect.
About four weeks ago, Bahati met Judith for the first time. During the emotional meeting, the woman burst into tears as she said she had finally reunited with her son.

However, the singer asked whether she would be willing to take a DNA test to confirm the claims. Judith agreed, appearing confident that Bahati was indeed her child.
Days later, the two visited a doctor, where samples were taken for a maternity test.
Is Judith Makhokha Bahati’s biological mother?
On Monday, March 9, Bahati shared a video on social media capturing the moment the doctor disclosed the long-awaited results.
In the clip, the doctor confirmed that the test showed no biological relationship between the two.
“The probability of maternity is 0%. There is no possibility that Judith Makhokha is Kevin Bahati’s biological mother,” the doctor stated.
The announcement instantly left Judith in shock as she broke down in tears inside the doctor’s office.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Judith questioned where her child could be, seemingly confirming that she had indeed given up a baby for adoption years ago.
Struggling to hold back tears, she said she could not accept the results and demanded to know what happened to her child.
“Where did my child go? My God! I cannot accept this. Where did my child go? I just want my child; let them give me my child. It pains me,” she said before storming out of the office.
Bahati appeared emotional throughout the moment and was seen trying to console her. Despite the outcome, the singer promised to help Judith search for her lost child.
Sharing the video online, Bahati captioned it:
“The official DNA results are here 💔💔💔. May God heal ‘mum’s heart’ and may my late mum Lucia Mueni rest in peace.”

How did Judith claim she met Bahati’s father?
During a past interview, Judith claimed that she met the man she alleged to be Bahati’s father in 1993 when she had travelled from Western Kenya to Nairobi looking for work.
She claimed the two met at her workplace, where the man was among three colleagues. According to her, she developed an interest in him and the relationship quickly grew serious, with the man allegedly telling her he was not interested in a casual relationship but wanted marriage.
Judith claimed they lived together for about seven months before problems began.
She alleged that when she informed her parents about the relationship, they opposed the union, which created tension between the couple and eventually led to their separation
