A woman has shared a puzzling video showing what her personal CCTV video captured after she stepped out of her Airbnb to get some fresh air.

The lady, identified as @ceoxmm on TikTok, shared that she booked an Airbnb to stay for a few days because her son had a nearby football game that she wanted to attend.
In a TikTok post, she stated that after arriving at the short-stay apartment, red flags began to emerge.
The host refused to give her access to the thermostat and instead insisted that she be allowed to enter the property herself to adjust the temperature.
@ceoxmm noted she expressed her reservations with the host’s insistence on accessing the house while she was in it.
“We made it clear we did not agree to that arrangement and stepped out for some fresh air, as the temperature inside was uncomfortable,” she narrated.
Woman installs CCTV in Airbnb apartment
Due to her interactions with the host, she decided to put up a secret CCTV because she could not trust the owner during her stay.
And so after she went for a walk outside the apartment, the CCTV sent her a notification as it had recorded an unexpected moment that happened while she was away.
The cameras showed how the host, knowing that the woman and her son were away, accessed the property secretly, not knowing the cameras were recording her every move.
The host was seen walking into the apartment, sure that the woman was not around. She walked past the camera, seemingly unaware it was there.
“While we were gone, I received a notification that the host had entered the property without our consent. At that point, we immediately left and were forced to throw away all of our food because we could no longer trust that it hadn’t been tampered with,” she said.
