Kaluma had been documenting his struggles caring for his ailing father, Zachary, who suffered a stroke in 2024. The 17-year-old boy won the hearts of many with his humility and dedication to supporting his father.
He even took on odd jobs to provide for his father and their humble family home in Othaya.

The generosity reached new heights on Sunday, October 5, during a thanksgiving ceremony at Bishop Muthee Kiengei’s church, JCM, where millions were raised in just 30 minutes, uplifting the family from poverty.
Beyond financial support, the family received land for a new home, a shop for Mama Kaluma, and various gifts, including beauty products, wigs, clothes, and services like pedicures and manicures, among many others.

In one video, Mama Kaluma dazzled in a gorgeous white dress with gold accessories, a stylish wig, and subtle makeup that accentuated her beauty in ways fans had never seen before.
