However, a video of her on radio explaining why she was yet to move out of her parents’ house has elicited reactions.

“I am going to move out when I move in with someone. One, I am so used to communal living, where there are so many people in the house. I do not think I can stay in a house alone. I cannot stand it. Claudia added that she wants to move in with someone before they get married to learn how they will cope with each other.

“If I am moving out, I am moving out to live with my fiancé. We must court during that period and see how we will live together. As long as he has proposed, we can live together. Legally, it is fine,” she added.

Should one move in with spouse after leaving parent’s house?

Relationship coach Mary Nzisa, in an interview with TUKO.co.ke shared the pros and cons of moving in with your spouse, immediately after leaving your parents’ home.

“Moving in with your spouse right after leaving your parents’ house can help you bond deeply, share responsibilities early, and start building your future together. However, it may also limit your personal growth and independence, as you might not have had enough time or experience to adjust to living on your own or establish emotional and financial stability alone before marriage,” she said.
