Raila Odinga’s father, Jaramogi Oginga’s remaining widow, has delighted netizens after a video of her, accompanying the former prime minister’s brother emerged.

Raila died in India on October 15, moments after collapsing while on his morning walk in the company of his daughter, Winnie Odinga.
He had travelled in India, where he was seeking treatment, before the tragedy happened, sending Kenyans into mourning.

In the video that is now doing rounds online, Betty was in a blue dress as she jovially held her step-son, Oburu’s arms.
She could be seen engaging Oburu as she asked him questions about the things he had already done while pointing out the people who were walking in front of them.

What did Oburu say about Raila’s burial?
Oburu, while talking to elders in Bondo, narrated how the public took over Baba’s procession from the airport and led it to Kasarani Stadium.
He, however, cautioned the public to let Raila be given a decent send-off and not put his body in a position where it will not be teargassed again.
The Siaya senator also revealed that the burial will be a private ceremony and only a few people will be allowed at the gravesite.
