Nairobi county senatorial aspirant Johanes Bolo has shared a powerful message with Kenyans after surviving a grisly road accident.

On the night of Saturday, October 18, Bolo was involved in a serious crash while en route to Bondo to attend the burial ceremony of the late former prime minister Raila Odinga, who passed away recently.

What did Bolo say about the accident?

Hours after news of the accident surfaced online, Bolo took to social media with a message of encouragement, faith, and gratitude.

“Make sure you always have a word with God before leaving your house. Prayer works. Have survived death,” he wrote.

He later shared videos showing himself in high spirits, smiling, walking, and even doing simple exercises, subtly confirming that he had not suffered any major injuries.

In one of the clips, he captioned:

“God loves me so much because He knows my heart is as white as cotton. I’m a very prayerful man, very safe and sound. God want good leaders to lead.”

How was Johanes Bolo involved in the accident?

Videos seen by TUKO.co.ke from the accident scene showed the extensive damage sustained by the vehicles involved.

Bolo’s luxury BMW SUV was the most affected after colliding with a Mercedes-Benz lorry, which only suffered damage to its bumper.

The BMW’s front right side was completely mangled, with the bonnet crushed and the driver’s side badly damaged.

Bolo later confirmed that he was behind the wheel at the time of the accident and was accompanied by his security and media personnel, none of whom sustained major injuries.
