How did Agnes Shibeka die?
According to Erick Barasa Busolo, Agnes had been full of life and excitement about finally reuniting with her loved ones after years of hard work abroad.
However, tragedy struck barely a week after her return when she fell ill and passed away after a short illness.
At the family home, grief and disbelief hang heavy in the air. Relatives recall how Agnes had looked forward to starting afresh after years of hustling abroad.
Her parents described her as a hardworking and selfless woman who often sent money home to support her siblings and improve their living conditions.
“She was so happy to be home. We had plans to celebrate her return, but now we are planning her burial,” said one family member tearfully.
