Where was Barbara Chepkoech’s son buried?

The funeral service of Blade was held at Imani Family Church in West Des Moines, Iowa, on the afternoon of Monday, October 27.

Barbara paid a tearjerking tribute to her only son, describing him as kind, loving and full of humour, admitting his death hit her the hardest.

“This is not anything I envisioned… I wouldn’t wish this on anybody. Blade was a good friend; anybody who met him always knew that he would always make you happy. He had the best laugh. I want everyone to remember him the way I do and the way people who love him would or will do. Today we’re laying to rest a beautiful boy. He was kind and intentional in his movements. As playful as he was for a nine-year-old, he was deliberate with his movements, thoughts, kindness… He was loving.
