Kasmuel McOure has rubbed some Kenyans the wrong way after sharing former prime minister Raila Odinga’s health details.

The aspiring politician appeared on the Iko Nini podcast, where he spoke about Raila’s 2010 hospitalisation and a recent trip to King’s College Hospital in Dubai.
In 2010, Raila bumped his head in a vehicle and was admitted to Nairobi Hospital with symptoms including a headache, exhaustion, and general weakness.
Did Raila undergo brain surgery?
According to the neurosurgeon, increased pressure around the brain might have resulted from leakage in one of the brain’s veins.
This leakage could have occurred due to several factors, including the stretching of veins with age, which can cause brain shrinkage and rupture of the bridging veins.
The doctors drilled a hole to expose the brain and clean it.
Speaking about the procedure later, Raila made light of it, causing Kenyans to laugh.
“I told my wife if this was supposed to be my end, then let it be. The doctors told me that when they opened my head, it was like a pressure cooker. They then applied some liquid to clean it out – they were doing irrigation. I’ve been through real brainwashing,” he joked.
In his interview, Kasmuel said Raila started wearing his signature cap because of a scar on his forehead.
Kasmuel also shared details of Raila’s recent trip to King’s College Hospital in Dubai and the subsequent diagnosis.
What was Raila’s diagnosis in Dubai?
According to Kasmuel, doctors found something at the back of Raila’s head.
“He told me that recently, when he was in Dubai, they found something at the back of his head. The medical advice was that it was too dangerous to operate, so they would give him some medication and then monitor him.”
Kasmuel mentioned that he could not reach Raila for about a week during that period.
