A bizarre incident has been reported at the gravesite of the late Raila Amollo Odinga in Kang’o Ka Jaramogi, Bondo, Siaya county.

Since the burial of the veteran politician on October 19, hundreds of visitors have been flocking to the family compound to pay tribute, light candles, and leave flowers in memory of the man many hailed as a symbol of Kenya’s democracy.

What did Ajwang’ Aminda do by Raila’s grave?
However, an unusual scene captured in an undated video has shocked many.

The footage shows a man identified as Ajwang’ Aminda, an aide and loyal supporter of Kisumu senator Tom Ojienda, standing by Raila’s grave late at night.
Holding a burning candle, he appears to be in deep conversation, allegedly speaking to Raila’s spirit.
In the viral clip, Aminda is seen addressing the late opposition leader by his traditional name, “Amolo son of Nyakoga,” as he seemingly seeks spiritual endorsement for his political boss.
Did Raila endorse Tom Ojienda for Kisumu governor in 2027?
He is heard asking whether Tom Ojienda would be the next Kisumu governor, insisting that Raila had “spoken” to him from beyond the grave.
The man claimed that Raila’s spirit confirmed Ojienda would succeed in the 2027 elections, a statement that has since stirred both disbelief and amusement among Kenyans online.

The eerie act has also raised questions about how far political devotion can go, especially in a region where Raila’s influence remains deeply entrenched.

Did Tom Ojienda present branded cows to Raila’s family?
