Kinale, Kiambu: Family and friends of a young boy identified as Sam are sadly engulfed in grief after the boy, who went missing, was found in a maize plantation.

According to Mercy Nungari, Sam was sent to a nearby shop to buy unga on Wednesday, October 29, but he never made it back home.
“So, there has been a man who has been seducing the mother, but the mother was not responding, so the man timed the boy, and the rest was history,” she said.
“The mother waited for her son to come back in vain. What followed was a long search by the villagers the whole of yesterday. Sadly, Sam was found in a nearby maize plantation, brutally murdered. Later in the evening, the man surrendered himself to the police,” she added.

Pian as Grade 9 girl dies
Another story revealed how Cynthia Chepkirui, who was excited about her national KJSEA exams was sadly found dead in a sugarcane plantation.
Chepkirui was on her way to school when she was tragically killed, and the assailants sadly left her on someone’s farm along the road; the sight broke hearts.
The sight of Chepkirui in full school uniform also touched many people among them Citizen TV political journalist Steven Letoo. He likened the crime to doing it to the government, as she was still in her school uniform.
