Daktari Kelvin Kipchirchir Ufa told TUKO.co.ke that the young man left behind unpaid school fees amounting to KSh 47,400, and life after that was anything but easy.
To survive, he took on menial jobs, loading firewood, washing dishes in local hotels, and doing manual labour, all in an effort to make ends meet.

It was during this time that a simple request from his boss changed the course of his life.
“Kuna siku nilipigiwa na boss asubuhi nikaambiwa nilete certificate of good conduct, certificate ya Form Four na CV,” Emmanuel recalled.
