Celebrity Kenyan tailor Bolo Bespoke has caused an uproar after revealing the price of one of his designer suits.

Like the Bahatis, Bolo and his wife, Mueni, have perfected the art of getting Kenyans to talk about them.
Recently, he stirred reactions after attending the burial of Raila Odinga and reaching the gravesite, where he marked the solemn occasion by sharing a photo taken with President William Ruto.
During the service, Ruto and Bolo participated in the symbolic act of covering Raila’s grave with soil.
How much does a suit at Bolo Bespoke cost?
Later, Bolo addressed the media about his presence beside the president, claiming to be the new Luo kingpin. His comments sparked mixed reactions online, with some Kenyans describing them as attention-seeking.
On Tuesday, November 4, Bolo posted a photo of himself in a dapper suit, prompting Kenyans to inquire about its price. He then broke down the cost of the outfit, leaving many shocked.
He wrote:
“Due to public demand, you said the suit is dapper and you love the way it fits. Here is the news. No discount today; just buy like others.”
Bolo listed the items in the ensemble, including KSh 4,500 socks, two ties worth KSh 5,000, a KSh 4,500 perfume, a KSh 7,000 walking stick, shoes worth KSh 13,000, and a KSh 5,500 shirt. The suit itself cost KSh 228,000.
“Feel free to order as a separate item. You are all welcome,” he urged potential clients.
What did Kenyans say about Bolo Bespoke’s pricing?
Kenyans were stunned by the pricing, with some admitting they were not the target market, while others made light of the situation with witty comments.

“I will buy the same suit for KSh 8,000 at Eastleigh.”
Chelah Yegoh:
“The only thing I can afford is to say, ‘fundi ni mmoja.’”

“That suit must have the ability to sense the owner and wear itself.”

In other news, Bolo proudly showcased progress on the elegant bungalow he is building for his mother in the village.
In August, he had shared plans to replace her old home with a five-bedroom house after years of financial struggle.
Having once taken menial jobs following his father’s death, Bolo had finally achieved stability and wanted to give back.
