What happened to Baha’s mum?

Baha’s mum, Wanade, was a celebrated actress best known for her role in Mother-in-Law, where she portrayed a lively and witty character loved by many Kenyan TV viewers.

Sadly, she passed away in 2013 after a long battle with cancer. At the time of her death, Baha was still a teenager in Form One.

The loss deeply affected him and his older brother, who is also an actor.

He once shared that he even had to transfer schools just to be closer to his sibling during the difficult period.

Tragically, two years later, their father also passed away, leaving the brothers to navigate life without both parents.

May both their souls continue resting in peace.
