Ida was standing and addressing a group of people opposite her when Wavinya walked towards and hugged her.

Ida then stared at Wavinya and removed her hands from her waist, and the incident left Wavinya visibly embarrassed.

Did Ida Odinga deliberately ignore Wavinya Ndeti?

It should be noted that the moment didn’t appear like a deliberate one.

Mama Ida might have been overwhelmed by the large number of guests she has been receiving ever since Raila was buried.

The two don’t have any known differences and Wavinya later got another chance with Mama Ida, and she used the opportunity to offer her a gift.

In her social media post, the governor described Ida as a mentor and encouraged her to be strong in the face of grief.

“Mama Dr. Ida Odinga, you remain a true mentor and source of inspiration to many of us. Your strength, wisdom, and compassion have always guided those who look up to you. Even in this difficult moment, your courage continues to shine through. Be encouraged, are not alone. We shall continue walking this journey together with you,” Wavinya wrote.

What did Ida say about Kalonzo’s warm gesture?

In other news, Kalonzo brought with him 100 head of cattle, and the gesture stunned the widowed Mama Ida.
