The popular journalist tied the knot with his longtime partner, Benter Auma, in a colourful traditional ceremony held in Siaya County on Saturday, November 8.

The senior news editor, known for his captivating presence on Ramogi TV’s Kaka Wanene panel show, walked in great style to his in-laws’ home in Madeya-Gem, Siaya County, to pay dowry, according to the Luo customs.

The ceremony was conducted in two colourful parts; it started at the bride’s family home and culminated at the picturesque Peacock Ridge venue in the same area.

How were Kenn Muga, Benter Auma dressed?

Benter turned heads in a dazzling gold gown adorned with sequins. The off-shoulder design featured a bold, flowing orange fabric draped over one shoulder, adding a touch of drama and elegance.

The man of the party complemented his style with a sleek two-tone tuxedo jacket that combined classic black with a cream-toned front panel, which had both modern and traditional edges.

Who were the guests at Kenn Muga’s marriage ceremony?

The ceremony drew a star-studded crowd from both the media and political arenas.

Among the notable media personalities present were Ramogi TV managing editor Jay Bonyo, Citizen TV’s Trevor Ombija, Ramogi TV presenters, including Fred Ogweno, Cleophas Oluoch, Ochieng’ Emmanuel, Walter Nyambaga, and Solomon Kafaya.

Several political figures also graced the occasion, including Homa Bay East ward representative Eric Omolo, nominated MCA Eric Augo, Kisumu Central MP aspirant Benard Aete, former radio host turned Kasipul politician Ajo Mbuta, and Siaya senator aspirant CPA Zacky Masiro.

Taking to social media, Muga expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a role in making the day special.

In his words, the journalist wrote:

“We have walked this journey together and now, we’ve formalised it. Grateful to God, our families, friends, and our amazing in-laws for the love, support, and unity shown during our traditional marriage ceremony. Thank you for standing with us, celebrating with us, and blessing this union.”

As expected, Muga’s fans took to the comment section of his post to congratulate him and wish the couple the best.

When did Ramogi FM boss Victor Juma pay dowry?

The auspicious event took place in Mfang’ano Island on June 20, 2025.

VOJ’s team, led by Mayienga FM’s Festus Amimo, presented 10 cows to the bride’s family.
