Popular content creator and brand influencer Baba Talisha, real name Faustine Lipuku Lukale, has shared a dramatic update after losing two of his expensive phones at a recent event.

What was meant to be a fun night at Mataha Festival on Saturday, November 8, turned into a nightmare for the creator after he lost an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Samsung S25 Ultra, both containing important projects for his clients.
Baba Talisha took to social media, offering a KSh 50,000 reward for any information that could lead him to the devices.
Did Baba Talisha find his phones?
In an incredible twist, Baba Talisha managed to trace his iPhone to Kampala, Uganda, despite losing it at Jamhuri Grounds in Nairobi.
He first tracked the device to Ngong Town on Monday, November 10, where the perpetrators signed him out of his accounts. However, he was still able to see the phone’s location.
By the next day, the phone was on its way to Kisumu and ultimately crossed into Kampala.
“I tried calling relevant authorities who were to help, but I got really disappointed, especially because I had told them where the phones were and the precise location coordinates before they left Ngong,” he said.
He warned event-goers to remain vigilant, noting that thieves often target phones during crowded festivities.

What did Baba Talisha uncover about phone theft?
Baba Talisha went further to expose an alleged phone theft syndicate, sharing CCTV footage and WhatsApp chats related to the incident.
Another victim shared with him how she also lost her phone in similar fashion, confirming a pattern of theft at events.
Despite the setback, Baba Talisha has already acquired a new iPhone 17 Pro Max and is working to redo the projects he lost.
He shared the story not just as a personal lament but to caution the public.
“Hivyo ndivyo simu zangu zimeenda na kuvuka border. Everything that happens always has a better cause, but the setback is huge and devastating,” he wrote.

In a similar incident, media personality Willis Raburu recently revealed that his phone was also stolen at an event.
Fortunately, after sharing the story online, he received help as the phone had captured a photo of the man who was in its possession.
With that lead, Willis was eventually able to recover his lost device, ending a story that had many netizens following every update closely.
