Close friends and family are still struggling to come to terms with the death of Betty Bayo.

The gospel musician seemingly shared many wonderful moments and memories with her friends, who have since taken to social media to remember her.
One such friend is Rachel Njeri, who recalled the day Betty visited her at her home, just a day before she travelled to the UK, and complained of feeling unwell.
Njeri said that at the time, they thought little of Betty’s headache and even made light of the situation.
Was Betty Bayo pregnant?
She teased Betty, asking whether she was pregnant and experiencing the symptoms, and Betty responded with another joke after receiving painkillers.
“It was 3rd September this year. She came to my house, and we were with other good friends. I remember I was leaving for the UK the following day, and we were all happy. Betty was still smiling, though she was fatigued. She complained of a headache and asked me for painkillers. I gave her a packet of paracetamol, asking her to take two and keep the rest. With her sense of humour, she laughed and said, ‘Hizi ni za ulaya?’ She then asked for a blanket to cover her feet. We jokingly asked her, ‘Betty, are you pregnant?’ She responded, ‘Stop it with the jokes.’ Rest in peace, my friend,” she wrote.

The devastated friend shared that they had no idea Betty was facing serious health issues and wished they had known.
She advised her followers to undergo regular medical check-ups to facilitate the early detection of any potential health issues.
Kenyans mourn Betty Bayo
Kenyans mourned Betty’s death, reflecting on her strength and the importance of addressing health concerns early.

Did Betty’s friends donate blood for her?
TUKO.co.ke also reported that a few friends of the late singer Betty Bayo were on their way to donate blood for her when they learned of her death.
As they regretted being too late to donate, members of the public asked why the need for blood had not been made public.
Some people argued that her close circle knew her condition and were fully there for her, so there was no need to make it public at that time.
