The preacher added that he rarely speaks at burials and mostly leads with songs to avoid hurting the bereaved family.
“You are going to hear things that will make you develop bitterness, and that is why I do not talk a lot during burials. I even better lead in songs because someone can say something that will make you feel bitter. It is good to guard your heart because I hear we have been mentioned on social media,” he said.
He added that wise people are silent amidst storms, and foolish people are quick to speak on matters.
Bayo’s hubby has maintained his silence on his relationship with the musician since her demise.
“Thank God because the husband or wife you are with right now, you do not have a guarantee. You should all pray and be thankful. Learn to be patient with everyone. Wise people are not quick to speak, but foolish people are. God’s word is the truth, and it will never change. If you want to look wise, be silent. If you just take a look around, those who are silent are favoured, but those who jump to say things are despised.”
