The preacher has been vocal since the gospel singer’s death, speaking on a wide range of topics, including their failed relationship and two children.

For instance, during a recent church service, Kanyari honoured the late singer, highlighting her importance in his life and their children’s lives.

“I have never met anyone like her, so calm and caring. I haven’t found anyone to take her place, as I would rather be alone than with someone who mistreats me or our kids.

She was truly kind. She welcomed me into her family and allowed me to spend time with the children. I love them deeply,” he said.

Where did Kanyari and Betty Bayo go on holiday?

Kanyari also weighed in on the custody issue, expressing frustration over claims that others wanted to care for the two young children while they were still grieving their mother.

He added that he would never abandon them, as they were his main motivation for working so hard.

On Wednesday, November 19, Kanyari caught many of his social media followers unaware by sharing numerous old photos with Betty.

The images were captured when they were still together and were seemingly taken during a trip abroad.

The first image was taken inside an elevator and showed Betty on her phone. She had her earphones plugged in and was seemingly listening to music.

Betty wore a striped red and white top.

Kanyari, on the other hand, donned a blue T-shirt and orange shorts.

He had a camera and captured the photo through the reflection on the elevator’s mirrored wall.

A few hours later, Kanyari shared another image from their getaway in Thailand.

From the writing on the photo, they were at the Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo in Thailand.

In other news, Betty’s children study at Woodcreek School in Kiambu, which follows the British Curriculum and offers a wide range of clubs and modern facilities.

Sky, aged 13, is likely in Year 7, while nine-year-old Danny is likely in Year 2.

Their combined school fee, including extra charges, amounts to roughly KSh 2.1 million annually, and TUKO.co.ke broke it down.
