Reports indicated that MC Pilipili was heading to Dodoma, Tanzania, to host an event that night when he died in a tragic incident.
Ernest Ibenzi, the chief medical officer, reported in the medical records that the comedian was dead upon arrival at the hospital.
MC Pilipili’s elder brother, Christopher Mathias, spoke about the cause of his brother’s death.
He said the initial findings indicate his brother died from injuries inflicted by unidentified people.
According to Christopher, the incident led to severe injuries and ultimately MC Pilipili’s death.

He was laid to rest at his parents’ home in Tanzania on Thursday, November 20.
Many friends, relatives and fans gathered to pay their last respects to the departed comedian.
Photos shared by Millard Ayo TV showed how dejected MC Pilipili’s wife was during the burial.
She was inconsolable after viewing his body in the coffin and had to be supported to walk away.

The comedian was born on October 1, 1985, in Dodoma. He was the second child of Mathias and Mariam Matebe.
