However, her effort did not receive the response she expected from her lover.
“This man hasn’t called me for the gifts I sent him for International Men’s Day. Men will stain your black! Men are what again?” she lamented online.
Chioma had ordered a package for her man and had it delivered as a token of her appreciation.
The rider confirmed the delivery in their WhatsApp chats, but her man did not respond.
Chioma’s lover replies after International Men’s Day gift
“So you couldn’t even call me or get back to me? I sent my rider a package to deliver to you this morning,” Chioma wrote at 10:17pm.
Three minutes later, he replied, saying he didn’t know the package was from her.
He added that he felt the gesture was “a bit extra,” ending the message with a casual “Thanks.”
Feeling disappointed and unappreciated, Chioma responded with “Goodnight,” saying she felt wasted after going all out for him.
