Nairobi: Fresh information has emerged concerning the painful murder of deliveryman Anthony Olwal Otieno.

The rider was brutally killed on Tuesday, November 18, in South B Estate, Nairobi, while making a routine delivery.
He had been requested to deliver a package to an apartment building when he later met his gruesome fate.

New updates revealed that Otieno ran an online electronics business with his wife, who recounted what happened.
“The client was called Grace. He called a man by the name Hillary seeking clarification on where he was expected to deliver the phone.
The iPhone is the only gadget that was found. Otieno’s phone has not been found, and we do not know where it is,” Eunice Atieno said.
What was Anthony Olwal’s last conversation with friend?
Tony Mwenda, the man who gave the deceased father of three the phone he was supposed to deliver, shared critical information.
Mwenda said he received a call from Otieno in the morning informing him of the delivery he was to make.
“He called me at 9:38am telling me he had an iPhone 17 Pro Max client. He asked me if I could get one from my friend who deals with such high-end gadgets. I went and took it for him. Since we cannot afford that phone, I had to get it from my friend.
His name is Ken. He is the one who gave me the phone, and I gave it to Otieno to go and sell and get some profit. The money he would get, we would return it to our friend,” the deceased’s friend said.
What did Anthony Olwal’s brother say?
Otieno lost his life painfully while making the delivery in what appeared to be a case of online fraud.
It was not the first time he had encountered such an incident, according to his brother.
“Three weeks ago, a client ordered a phone to be delivered at Nation Centre. When Otieno arrived, while opening the phone to confirm, he realised the receiver had a dummy phone that looked exactly like the original one he held. He was very careful and kept the original phone in his hand,” Isaiah Odhiambo Ochieng’ said.

Anthony Olwal’s last CCTV moments?
In another story, CCTV footage emerged capturing not only Otieno’s last moments and movements but also the faces of the suspected killers.
In the footage, Otieno, who had arrived with his package, was seen looking around as though waiting for someone.
He was alone as he waited for the client to come for the package, before the client came for his life.
