Televangelist Victor Kanyari has continued his recent controversial posts, featuring screenshots of past WhatsApp chats with his late ex-wife, Betty Bayo.

In a recent post, shared a day after the singer was laid to rest, the preacher leaked their conversation about the school fees for their children, Sky and Danny Victor.
The chats date back to January 2024, with one showing an invoice from Woodcreek School sent to him in January 2025.
How much did Kanyari pay for kids’ school fees?
“Sky’s school fees are KSh 342,000; you have paid KSh 230,000. Please send the remaining KSh 114,000 directly to my number, not to the school, so I can pay Sky’s tuition in the USA, which is $1,000,” read a text from the late Betty Bayo.
She immediately followed this up with another text informing her ex-husband that Danny’s fee balance was KSh 8,000.
These chats sparked mixed reactions, with some social media users questioning his motives for sharing the screenshots, while others were taken aback by the large amounts he paid for the children’s school fees.

Many praised Kanyari for being a responsible father despite his controversial image.

How much did Kanyari earn from ‘mbegu ya 310’?
Previously, TUKO.co.ke reported that the preacher addressed his controversial call for congregants to send KSh 310 to receive blessings.
While admitting that the money was intended to help people escape poverty, he also shared that he made millions from it, earning between KSh 700,000 and KSh 1 million a day.
The father of two, however, refused to give a direct answer about his net worth, stating that he was neither rich nor poor.
