Waithira could not hide her excitement after seeing her mother, Lucy Wambui, moments after finishing her last paper of the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
She sat for her final exams at Kambui Girls’ High School, where her mum had gone to pick her up.
The moment she saw her mother, Waithira dropped the items she was carrying and ran toward her.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Wangari described the excitement shared by the family as they picked up their loved one.
“We were so excited, and yes, we went home and had a little party,” the salonist happily said.
