Frederick Kiprono, a young Kenyan man from Moiben, Uasin Gishu, has died in a shooting incident while working as an Uber driver in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Frederick eulogised by friends and family
According to those who knew him, he often worked long hours so he could support loved ones both in Kenya and abroad.
However, his life was cut short in circumstances that have left relatives and community members devastated, Gotabgaa International reports.
His family, including his brother William Songok and sister Everlyn Cheruto are now coming together to coordinate arrangements for his send-off and burial back home.
The loss has shaken both the diaspora and his home community, who describe Frederick as a gentle soul with a warm smile, someone who embraced everyone he met.
“He worked hard and loved deeply. This has left a huge hole in our hearts,” one family member shared.

Bernard Wanjohi Kamara, a respected 55-year-old community leader, was killed in a freak accident on the highway.
