Frederick, remembered as humble, hardworking, and deeply connected to his family, had moved to the US to build a better future.

Frederick eulogised by friends and family

According to those who knew him, he often worked long hours so he could support loved ones both in Kenya and abroad.

However, his life was cut short in circumstances that have left relatives and community members devastated, Gotabgaa International reports.

His family, including his brother William Songok and sister Everlyn Cheruto are now coming together to coordinate arrangements for his send-off and burial back home.

The loss has shaken both the diaspora and his home community, who describe Frederick as a gentle soul with a warm smile, someone who embraced everyone he met.

“He worked hard and loved deeply. This has left a huge hole in our hearts,” one family member shared.

The family is appealing for prayers, solidarity, and has set up a GoFundMe account to help raise funds to navigate the difficult and costly process of repatriating Frederick’s body to Kenya.
