Radio presenter Jakes Nyanjom’s poster has gone viral on social media, eliciting massive reactions.

The poster shared online by Homeboyz Radio was meant to celebrate the young radio host for being the best radio presenter of the month.

“We are excited to announce that Jake Nyanjom has been selected as our best radio presenter of the month. Congratulations. Keep shining and winning,” read the poster.

Captioning the poster, the radio station wrote:

“The heavenly congratulations come with a special angel’s applaud, guided by grace. Heavens celebrate you, Jakes.”

But what stunned many fans was the design of the poster. Many pointed out that it looked like an obituary notice. It had sky colours and also two doves appearing to be flying, and white-green flowers on two corners.

Many fans noted their hearts had skipped a bit when they saw the poster.

Jakes Nyanjom’s rise to fame

As reported previously, Jakes ascended to the role of host for the prestigious Drive Show at 18 in 2024.

He stepped into the shoes of Kerry Martin, who departed the station after a nearly decade-long tenure.

His promotion was catalysed by his success in achieving the highest nighttime show ratings in the nation.

Remarkably, the Daystar University graduate has been part of the station’s team for one year.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, the youthful radio host shared his enthusiasm for this new milestone.

He is determined to elevate the Drive Show to new heights.

“I am so excited about the opportunity. It’s a tough challenge because Kerry has been there for a long time, but I have faith in myself. It’s a big shoe to fill, but I’m going to do my best,” he said.

When asked about his formula for distinguishing himself in a highly competitive field, he attributed his success to prayer and diligent effort.

“My formula is simple: passionate prayer and unwavering dedication to hard work. These are the secrets of my success,” he explained.
