“People are surprised that one woman was buried by two men. That is history. That is history, one woman being buried by two men. The present current man and the past. We were there, and we were not fighting. I was even getting near Tash and telling him not to bring drama here. Let us bury mama, but do not bring any drama,” he said.
According to the preacher, he cautioned Tash while at the mortuary not to do anything that would leave people talking.
“He would ask me where the kids would stay, and I would tell him to stay with them. This was because I had seen at the mortuary that there was a bit of drama, and you know, as a smart person, you cannot fail to see that. I greeted him and told him not to bring drama and not to give people content,” he added.
Whose deaths hurt Kanyari?
Kanyari was preaching about God wiping people’s tears, where he encouraged his congregants to wait on the Lord’s salvation and comfort.
“I cried because of Betty Bayo. Until today, I have not recovered. Three people have made me cry. When my sister died, I cried. But not as much as Bayo. Another person who made me cry was Nigerian pastor, T.B. Joshua,” he added.
He also urged people to prepare loved ones when they think they may die, as he recalled the shock of his ex-wife dying within a short time of illness.
