Amos Maina’s last moments

At 7.47pm, he ordered a drink and a few minutes later, the jovial man seemingly lost his energy.

On the CCTV, he is lying on the table, seemingly asleep.

He sleeps for about an hour before waking up at 9.13pm and takes another drink.

Shockingly, at 9.22pm, he is seen losing consciousness, with his head losing balance. He is believed to have died at this moment.

With his body leaning on the chair, the staff presumes he is just asleep, and one of them is even seen trying to get him to lie his head on the table for some comfort.

However, the staff starts getting concerned at 9:59 pm, and one of them checks on him. Unbeknownst to them, Maina has been dead for about 30 minutes.

At 10.50pm, Maina’s worried brother walks into the joint, and he tries to wake him with no success.

A few days ago, Maina’s widow spoke painfully, demanding more answers about her husband’s death.

Regina said she was waiting for her husband to return home on that fateful Sunday, only to receive the devastating news that something had happened.

She recalled the moment that she found him unconscious at the club, saying he appeared so peaceful, as if he was sleeping.

“He was missing one shoe, and he appeared unconscious. His eyes were closed, and he looked as though he was asleep, but he wasn’t responding to anything,” Regina recalled.
