Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto’s husband, Stephane Aziz Ki, was rushed to the hospital after sustaining an injury during a football match.

Aziz, from Burkina Faso, has made a name for himself as a formidable midfielder.
The two met when he played for Tanzania’s giants, Yanga, before moving on loan to Moroccan club Wydad Athletic Club in May 2025.
Aziz paid Hamisa’s dowry in February, before holding a lavish wedding ceremony. The highlight of the ceremony was his dowry payment, which included several long-horned cattle.

Their dowry ceremony took place on Saturday, February 15, followed by the Nikkah (the Islamic marriage ceremony) on Sunday, February 16, and finally a celebratory event—possibly a white wedding—on Wednesday, February 19.

Was Aziz Ki injured?
On Friday, November 28, Wydad faced Azam in the CAF Confederation Cup. Sofyan Amrabat scored as Wydad defeated Azam 1-0, taking them to the top of Group B. Azam, on the other hand, was third, alongside Nairobi United, though the Kenyan side had played a game less.
The match took a tense turn when Aziz suffered a serious injury from a collision. The 29-year-old Burkinabe international was rushed to the hospital, raising concern among fans and the wider African football community.
The incident occurred during the second half at New Amaan Stadium, and paramedics had to attend to Aziz on the pitch before he was quickly transported for medical attention.
Reports indicate that the midfielder’s condition is serious, with the injury resulting from a clash with an opposing player.
Footage shared on social media showed Aziz being carried off the field on a stretcher before being taken into an ambulance and transported to the hospital.
No updates have been issued by the club yet, and Hamisa has not publicly commented on Aziz’s current condition.
