Stefanie Pieper, a 31-year-old beauty influencer, was stuffed inside a suitcase after her ex-boyfriend allegedly killed her.

According to the New York Post, her body was discovered nearly a week after she went missing.

How did Stefanie Pieper die?

Pieper, who had been last seen returning home from a Christmas party on November 23, vanished shortly thereafter.

Her disappearance raised concern when she missed a scheduled photo shoot and couldn’t be reached, prompting her family and colleagues to report her missing, according to the police.

Pieper had sent a message to friends on Sunday saying she was home safe, but later sent another note expressing concern that someone had followed her to her stairwell.

Neighbours reportedly heard an argument in the building and saw Pieper’s ex-boyfriend nearby, fuelling suspicion.

Pieper’s ex-boyfriend, also 31, allegedly confessed to the crime and guided authorities to where he had dumped her body.

Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung reported that he led the Slovenian police to the site in the wilderness where he left her.

The ex-boyfriend was arrested on Monday after his car caught fire near the border with Austria.

Police later discovered he had travelled frequently to Slovenia before his arrest.

He was extradited to Austria on Friday after leading police to Pieper’s body.

Her ex-boyfriend’s confession and relatives’ role

Peter M. initially stayed silent under questioning but confessed Friday to ambushing Pieper post-party, strangling her in a heated argument, stuffing her body in a suitcase, and driving it across the border to bury her in the forest.

He used his car for transport before burning it to destroy evidence, as detailed in Kronen Zeitung coverage.

Politician and influencer found dead at her home

In other news, the death of politician and fitness influencer Fernanda Oliveira da Silva, popularly known as Fernanda Maroca, left many in shock.

Fernanda’s lifeless body was found by her family members at her property in Lago Verde, near Sao Luis in Brazil, on October 22.

According to the sources, police rushed to the scene, but the famous politician was already dead. Although Maroca’s cause of death hasn’t been revealed yet, authorities have now launched an investigation into her death.
