From Allan Chesang’s wedding to Moses Wetangu’la’s daughter’s wedding, the president is the wedding guest of the year.
He has been invited to all these weddings as a chief guest, and he has been showing up looking his best.
Noordin’s son ties the knot
Ruto was in the company of ODM boss Oburu Oginga, the Senate speaker, CS Aden Duale and CS Kipchumba Murkomen as they graced the wedding of National Intelligence Service Director General Noordin Haji’s son.
Haji’s son, Mohammed Noordin Mohamed Y. Haji married his gorgeous bride, Jamila Mohammed Abdulgader Al Sawae.
Wedding guests have been sharing tidbits from the wedding on social media. The president looked sharp in an off-white Kaunda suit, complete with a walking stick.
He accessorised with a fedora hat. Wetang’ula donned a gold and black shirt, while Oburu, Duale and Murkomen donned white Kanzus.
Murkomen blended in with his look, and one could not easily recognise him from the other wedding guests.
The groom looked handsome in a white kanzu and had a flowery wreath on his neck.
Wetang’ula took to social media to share the photos and congratulated the couple on their new milestone.
“A blessed union is built not on perfection, but on two hearts choosing each other with patience, respect, and purpose. I joined President H.E. Dr William Ruto and other distinguished guests at Masalani, Ijaraa Constituency, Garissa County for a beautiful wedding of Mohammed Noordin Mohamed Y. Haji, son of National Intelligence Service Director General Mr Noordin Haji and Jamila Mohammed Abdulgader Al Sawae,” he wrote.
He wished the happy couple good tidings as they began their new chapter in life as a wedded couple.
“I extend my warmest congratulations to the young couple as they begin this new chapter. May their union be strengthened by faith, guided by wisdom, and filled with peace and prosperity. Wishing Mohammed and Jamila a lifetime of joy and grace,” he added.
