Oromo fell and died instantly on November 30 after an argument with a woman, who has yet to be identified.

Festus Oromo’s last moments

The young man was seen on surveillance footage arriving at the Kilimani apartment, room B1406, on the 14th floor.

Twelve minutes later, a man, reportedly a delivery rider, dropped off a package for Oromo at the apartment and left. All seemed well until things took a tragic turn nine hours later.

At 1:06 AM, another man, identified as Patrick, who is currently in police custody, walked out of the same apartment, stood at the door for a minute, and then went back inside.

Seven minutes later, he was seen talking to Oromo, who was standing by the apartment door. After their brief conversation, they walked to the lift together, visibly cheerful, but Oromo returned alone at 1:15 AM and knocked on the door to the room they had been in earlier.

The camera then captured him fighting with a woman, later identified as Lilian Mbeke, who was dragging him by the shoulders.

Was Festus Oromo pushed from 14th floor?

Oromo struggled and closed the door, blocking the CCTV view, leaving what happened inside the house a mystery.

However, 41 minutes later, the cameras outside at the parking lot captured the horrifying moment when his body fell onto a white car parked on the ground floor.

Night guards on duty confirmed that he was unresponsive. Preliminary investigations revealed that Oromo was already dead when his body fell onto the car.

Meanwhile, Patrick and Lilian were arrested and detained at Kilimani Police Station as investigations into Oromo’s death continued.

The young man’s body was moved from City Mortuary to General Kago Funeral Home by his family.

What did Oromo’s autopsy report reveal?

A postmortem conducted on the body of the 25-year-old man on Monday, December 1, revealed that he suffered severe trauma to the head, chest, and abdomen.

Oromo also had fractures to both legs. Moreover, the impact from his fall crushed parts of the white vehicle he landed on at the apartment’s ground floor.
