Kisumu – Residents of Magere Estate in Muhoroni subcounty have been left in shock following the mysterious death of a 59-year-old man.

Citizen Digital reported that the lifeless body of Moses Odenyi was found inside his house on Tuesday, December 2, within the Chemelil area.
How did police notice Moses Odenyi’s body?
According to a police statement filed at Muhoroni Police Station, neighbours noticed a foul smell emanating from the deceased’s house.
The neighbours quickly informed the police about the development, and when the officers arrived, they were forced to break in after they found the house locked from inside.
Sadly, when the police officers gained access into the house, they found the body of the 59-year-old man lying on the bed.
According to the police, a physical examination on Odenyi’s body did not reveal any injuries, but the foul smell signified that he could have passed on days back.
Neighbours told police that he was last seen entering his house on Saturday, November 29.
Police took away the body to the Othoo hospital mortuary for preservation, awaiting a postmortem to determine the cause of death.

Kiprotich’s brother, Hezron Cheruiyot, told TUKO.co.ke that his brother’s body was discovered in a dam in Chebole.

He mentioned that his brother had been killed before being dumped in the dam, and that they had a suspect in mind.
Kiprotich’s body was found on November 24, just six days after he went missing, leaving his family devastated.
Hezron shared that funeral plans were underway, but the family needed help with the finances.
Kenyans expressed their condolences online, with members of the community mourning the tragic and senseless killing of the young businessman.

In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that a family in Njoro, Nakuru county, was left heartbroken after their missing son was found dead.
Jeremiah Macharia disappeared on November 9 after a church service while on his way back home under unclear circumstances.
A day later, Macharia’s body was found by the roadside, sending his family into mourning and shock throughout the village.
