Kenyan actress Sandra Dacha has shared the final moments of Tahidi High actor Bilal Wanjau.

Dacha had confirmed Bilal’s death with a heartbreaking post revealing that he breathed his last on Thursday, December 4.
What was Bilal’s cause of death?
While speculations arose online over what Bilal’s cause of death was, the actress has cleared the air with a statement.
She revealed that a year ago, the actor had a small wound on his leg, and it escalated due to his underlying diabetes condition.
On Sunday, he experienced trouble breathing, and he was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), where they stabilised him.
“What started as a small wound on his leg one year ago was unfortunately escalated by his underlying diabetes condition. On Sunday while in Machakos, he experienced hardness in breathing and was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital, where they stabilised him.”
Dacha noted that the wound on his leg had not fully healed, and his blood sugar shot up; he succumbed while receiving treatment.
“His blood sugar was at 11 as opposed to an expected 3-4 at most. The wound on his leg kept on recurring as opposed to fully healing; hence, he was always with a crutch or walking stick. Yesternight he succumbed and breathed his last,” she said.
She thanked the late actor for playing a major role in her acting career, revealing that Bilal saw potential in her back in 2010.

Dacha noted that the actor spotting her changed her life, and she would forever remain indebted to him.
“Bilal played a major role in my life. We met back in 2010 somewhere in Eastleigh in an organisation known as FHOK where he saw my potential in acting and immediately sent me to Planets Theatre, where I started my acting career by doing set books, and the rest is history. Rest in peace Bilal Wanjau,” she said.
