On Thursday afternoon, Joseph Kamau, 41, was revealed as the most recent winner of the well-liked jackpot offered by the online gaming company.

Kamau placed the winning bet using only KSh99 and correctly predicted the outcomes of 13 football matches.

The Mega Jackpot Pro 13 is a variation of SportPesa’s main Mega Jackpot, featuring fewer games but with a separate cash prize.
Kamau said the win did not come as a surprise because recent bets had shown signs of luck turning in his favor.
He revealed that for two consecutive weekends, he had managed to get 11 correct predictions, something he had never achieved before. A colleague even joked that his consistency would eventually land him on television.

The father of two admitted that tension kicked in as he monitored the last match on his bet slip, Napoli versus Roma.
He had picked Napoli, who were playing away, and said he was anxious throughout the match.
What is Kamau’s job?
Kamau runs a tailoring business in Nairobi and said his immediate focus is investing the money in modern machinery to increase production capacity and improve quality. He also intends to buy a home and treat his family to an unforgettable holiday season.
“My plan has always been to expand my business by buying modern tailoring machines so that I take it to the next level. I would also love to own my own home. This win has come at the right time because Christmas is just around the corner, and this will be the best one of my life. As a family, we can now go on vacation without having school fee pressure in January,” he said.
He urged Kenyans who bet to exercise discipline and only stake what they are willing to lose.
