Renowned Benga musician Dola Kabarry and his wife, Connie Kabarry, have been involved in a road accident.

According to an eyewitness, Dickens Ongicho, the accident occurred along the Kisumu–Kisii Highway.

How did Dola Kabarry, Connie’s road crash happen?

He painted a picture of how the accident happened and the vehicles involved.

“The collision occurred after a Probox vehicle reportedly lost control and rammed into his Toyota Harrier. Kabarry and the occupants of the Probox sustained minor injuries. By the time we got there, no emergency response team had arrived,” Ongicho wrote.

Connie also took to social media to share an update about the accident.

Connie Kabarry’s message after surviving road accident

She confirmed that they were safe and thanked Jesus.

“The devil is a liar, ushindwe katika Jina la Yesu! Thank you, Jesus, for saving our lives,” she wrote and accompanied it with a picture of the wreckage.

In another post, she noted that the accident was bad and thanked God for protecting their lives.

“It was that bad, yes! But God said it’s not yet time and we glorify His great name. Thank you for your concern, thank you for your calls, prayers, soothing words/comments and encouragement. We sincerely appreciate,” Connie wrote.

Is Dola Kabarry safe?

Despite being involved in the road accident, Dola was still able to arrive at his show and perform.

“We are fine, Kabarry was able to entertain his fans in Kisumu as planned, though he arrived late but he was there and gave you his best. Don’t worry, he’s going to compensate you guys on Christmas day, same place. Club Mamba,December 25,” Connie continued.

She also took a moment to respond to her critics who believed the damaged car wasn’t properly insured.

“Saw someone rejoicing that the car was on third-party insurance, let me break your heart, the car is 100% comprehensively insured, and we are also covered by the precious blood of Jesus.”

Many fans were relieved after Connie’s assurance that they were safe and many took to the comment section to wish them well.
