Diageo, the parent company of East African Breweries Ltd, has announced its 2026 internship programme for undergraduates.

The manufacturer noted that its undergraduate internship programme runs quarterly, with new intakes every three months, but the applications must be submitted online by Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

The company pointed out that the programme is available for students in their third or final year of study.

However, it clarified that individuals who have completed their studies and have spent over 12 months since leaving school will not be eligible.

“If you plan to undertake an internship between January 2026 to December 2026, apply now. Be sure to indicate your preferred internship period when submitting your application. When completing your application, please specify your current area of study or degree title under the education or current job experience sections. Feel inspired? Then this may be the opportunity for you,” it stated.

Career development associate Simon Ingari said undergraduates should show measurable achievements in their previous roles in school or attachment.

“Highlight experience and skills that directly match the job description. Use numbers (for example, increased sales by 20%) or concrete outcomes to demonstrate impact,” he told TUKO.co.ke.

Which areas are available for Kenyan undergraduates?

EABL said it is offering an internship to undergraduates in several disciplines.

These include business and manufacturing-related fields.

Eligible candidates include those majoring in accounting, finance, economics, actuarial science, business administration, marketing, human resources, communication, public policy or public relations, information technology, computer science, data science and analytics, statistics, project management, and supply chain/operations management.

Other fields are engineering (chemical, biochemical, microbiology, electrical, industrial, mechanical, civil, or packaging), food science and technology, environmental science, agriculture, procurement and logistics, supply chain management, quality assurance, and health, safety and environment.

The manufacturing firm said successful candidates will be deployed in Nairobi, Nyeri, Kisumu, Nakuru and Molo.

What are the requirements for the EABL internship?

  1. A letter from your school stating that you are enrolled there and that you need to complete an internship in order to finish your course.
  2. An insurance coverage for personal accidents during the internship
  3. Bank account details.
  4. A copy of the national Identity Card (ID).
  5. Social Health Authority (SHA) and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) numbers.
  6. A copy of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN certificate.

Which jobs did Equity Afya advertise?

In other news, Equity Afya announced jobs for receptionists, laboratory technologists, nurses, customer experience officers and clinical officers.

Graduates who hold certificates, diplomas and degrees are eligible to apply.
