A family in Kakamega county has been thrown into mourning after losing 10 people who had attended a wedding in Homa Bay county lost their lives.
Citizen TV reports that the 10 people who died include choir members and people from that family. Guests had come as far as Nyamira, and according to the groom, Kepha Angawa, he offered them a place to spend the night, but they refused.
I told them that we had kept a place for them, but they said that they had a bus that was going to pick them, he said. I have not been able to eat or sleep, I keep thinking that it was a dream.
At 3 am, I got a phone call, and my sister told me that our parents died in an accident.
