The former Citizen TV news anchor shared a photo of herself and her father as she announced that he had lost her dad.
She questioned how she would live without him, but also noted how relieved she was that he was no longer in pain.
Maribe and her father showcased inspiring moments when she was implicated in the case of businesswoman Monica Kimani.

What is Jacque Maribe’s prayer for her mum?
The TV girl had been accused alongside her then-boyfriend, Joseph Irungu, alias Jowi, in the death case of the 29-year-old businesswoman.
Her father showed up in all court sessions, and in some cases could be seen shielding his daughter from the media taking photos of the journalist.
In her new post, which she shared on her Facebook, she was captured sitting between her mum and dad. She captioned it with a moving message.
“Dad, I do not know. Dad, please. Oh God! I pray my mum heals. She is the hero of the family,” she wrote.

How did Itumbi mourn Maribe’s father?
A day ago, TUKO.co.ke featured Kenyans, among them Dennis Itumbi, mourning the passing of Maribe’s father.
Itumbi and Maribe have been close friends for a long time and have at one point fuelled relationship rumours after a photo of them kissing went viral.
According to Itumbi, the journalist’s dad was a supportive and caring man who proved to the world what lengths he would go to shield his daughter.
He also pointed out the viral photos of Maribe’s dad in court during the hearings and prayed that God rest his soul in eternal peace.
Other Kenyans also praised him for being a present dad who was ready to fight with and for his daughter till the end.
