At the height of his success, he was known for extending a helping hand to others, including young Kenyans eager to pursue opportunities abroad.
Among those he supported was Jeremy Damaris, whom he guided through the Green Card application process that would eventually open the door to a new life in the United States.
Time, however, has not been kind. When Jeremy tracked him down years later, he found a very different man.

Jeremy’s promise to Muthuri
Muthuri was living in extremely difficult conditions, teetering on the edge of homelessness. The sight left Jeremy visibly shaken, and the raw emotion of the moment struck a chord with thousands who watched the clip online.
Overcome with grief and gratitude, Jeremy openly acknowledged that his success in America was, in part, built on the generosity and guidance of the man standing before him.
Fighting back tears, he spoke candidly about the shock of seeing someone who once uplifted others now struggling to survive.
In a powerful and deeply personal gesture, Jeremy made a public commitment to build Muthuri a home, vowing to restore dignity to the man who once helped him rise.
The pledge drew an outpouring of reactions, with many praising the philanthropist for remembering his roots and honouring those who shaped his journey.
Muthuri’s story has since resonated far beyond Kenyan borders as a sobering reminder of how swiftly fortunes can change, and a compelling lesson in remembering those who lent a hand when we needed it.
Jeremy builds house for ‘cursed’ brothers
Jeremy is no stranger to philanthropy, especially building houses for Kenyans who are struggling to make ends meet.
In October, he held a fundraiser and built a house for three brothers from Ol Kalou who had been living a difficult life after their father allegedly cursed them before he died.
Their mother shared that their father used to mistreat her and reportedly cursed the brothers, rendering them immobile, but the girls are okay.
Jeremy handed over the house in a colourful ceremony, marking a victorious celebration after many years of struggles and suffering.
