Media personality Liz Jackson has fired shots at netizens who have been camping on her posts and linking her to the late former Lugari MP, Cyrus Jirongo.

Jirongo died on December 13 after the Mercedes-Benz that he was driving collided with a Climax Bus along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.
There have also been so many questions about what happened before he died, after contradictory information from different people.
National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula was among the first people to narrate the last moments of the deceased as they hung out together in Karen before he left.

However, days after he passed, netizens claimed that the Mercedes that Jirongo was driving was allegedly the same one that Liz had shared as hers on Instagram.
What did Liz Jackson say about ‘widow’ remarks?
Others also claimed that she may have had an affair with the former parliamentarian, sparking reactions on social media.
In a video that Liz shared on TikTok, she displayed what her village experience was like as she travelled home for Christmas.
She could be seen feeding cows, trying to chop wood that can be used for firewood and later carrying water in a small basin to shower in a wooden bathroom.
One netizen using the handle @Lucy Neisa commented:
“In the village, they do not know you are a widow; they are just giving you work, surely.”
She quickly shut her down and questioned if she was at any point married to anyone.
“Might I have been married at one point and I do not know. No way,” she responded.

Who owns the car Jirongo was driving?
Elsewhere, National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) records revealed that the Mercedes-Benz involved in the fatal crash of former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo was registered to Smart Cars Limited rather than the politician himself.
While Jirongo was not the registered owner, investigators noted that he had been associated with the car since at least 2020, following a previous incident involving a motorcycle.
Security footage and witness accounts currently form the basis of the ongoing DCI investigation into the circumstances of the dawn collision that claimed the former MP’s life.
